Beauty Industry Welcomes Ayurveda in Poland

The innate ability of Ayurveda to provide care and sustenance to natural beauty is all set to receive a widespread usage in Poland with Jiva recently conducting a series of lectures and workshops at the annual Beauty Congress organised by the famous Polish beauty magazine LNE (Les Nouvelle Esthetique & Spa) in the city of Krakow.

Dr. Partap Chauhan was invited to this prestigious event to give a presentation on how to cleanse the body, mind and senses through Ayurveda and recharge the soul. The lecture drew a lot of attention and interest from the participants. The attendants were particularly left awestruck at the simplicity of the practices ingrained in the Jivananda daily routine programme which Dr. Chauhan recommended as a means to fight stress and maintain overall health and peace of mind. The lecture ended with the demonstration of Netra Vasti which is a great stress-busting Panchakarma technique.

In addition to this, a two-day workshop was also held on Ayurveda and Beauty for beauty therapists. The workshop conducted by Dr. Chauhan with assistance from Elzbieta Zuk Widmanska and Marja Koszucha Debicka demonstrated several Ayurvedic massage techniques such as face massage, Abhyanga (full-body massage) and head massage. Widmanska and Debicka are from Ajurweda.pl which is the authorised Jiva distributor in Poland.

During his stay in Poland Dr. Chauhan also held a five-day Jivananda retreat in Bobolin, Poland near the Baltic Sea wherein the participants got a chance to live close to nature in accordance with the Ayurvedic daily routine. This time the theme of this annual event was How to Attain Success in Modern Life through Ayurveda. The programme included Jivananda classes every morning and practicals in the afternoon.
