Jiva Opens Wellness Hub for Europeans

Authentic Ayurveda made a giant leap into the heart of Europe with the recent cutting of the inaugural ribbon for Jiva’s first off-shore centre in the Croatian city of Opatija by Dr. Partap Chauhan, Director, Jiva Ayurveda. The centre now offers the complete range of Jiva’s signature Ayurvedic treatments and Panchkarma therapies through a team of dedicated Ayurveda professionals trained at the Jiva headquarters in Faridabad, India.

This centre has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of Ms. Sanja Radulic Galic who is the Director of Paramayu d o o, the authorised associate of Jiva in Croatia. ParamAyu is a health and wellness company based in Croatia.

Housed in Hotel Istra, Opatija, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, this Panchakarma-centre currently includes a team that comprises a resident Ayurvedic specialist (Dr. Arindam Chatterjee) and two Panchakarma therapists.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by a workshop on Ayurvedic treatments by Dr. Chauhan which received a massive publicity with the media coverage offered by the Croatian national television. The event was attended by a large number of Croatian Ayurveda professionals and enthusiasts.

“This centre is going to be the hub of wellness for all those Europeans who want to get natural treatments for their health problems but are often straitjacketed by the inconvenience of flying to India”, hoped Ms. Sanja. She promised to carry forward Dr. Chauhan’s dream of seeing Ayurveda in every home through this centre.
